Every bite is packed with flavor, texture, and intention. The food was incredible here and I loved my hot bowl. The portions are generous but absolutely tasty. Better yet, the staff and chef are so kind - you feel at home. Their desserts are also absolutely delicious. The sweet potato cheesecake was soft but had a nice crunch and flavor profile from the cake and pecans. This place is no joke- you have to check it out.

I went here for the first time on MLK Day 1/20/26. Upon entry we were greeted by the owner who was warm and friendly. He asked if we had any food allergies and I told him I was vegan. While my wife and I were ordering our food he brings me a small vegan sampler and I was blown back. My wife placed our orders and sat. Moments later our food arrived and it did not disappoint. I definitely enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone.

Talk about soul food, you better put Yumvillage in the conversation! Food was crazy good. Hit the spot and the chefs got that extra love that just hits when you bite down on the elevated fufu. If you got a stop over in Detroit or you hanging around Stevie Wonder Ave, go hit them up!!
