Z’s Breakfast and Lunch

It was a long time, maybe over 1 yr, since we have been back to this establishment. What a change within that time. The entrance is very welcoming along with the staff. The restaurant has been remodeled/updated. Very clean. For being one of two restaurants serving breakfast all day, I was surprised to see how quiet it was around 10:30 am. The waitress & waiters were very professional with excellent customer service. The coffee was fresh and delicious. I ordered the Southern Sunrise, it was absolutely flavorful. Yum! My husband ordered a Steak Skillet. Everything was correct and we were checked on several times during our 40 min stay. Prices are reasonable. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Lots of great choices on the menu for everyone. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

I really enjoy coming to Z's. Everytime I come in, the staff recognizes me and my family. They're always ready to help with a smile and a laugh. The food is equally amazing. I went in today and had the reuben sandwich. The corned beef practically melted in my mouth and the kraut was a satisfying tang. They toasted that rye bread to the perfect crunch as well. The pricing is reasonable and the portions are huge. If you want a good meal and friendly staff, I'd is the place to go.

I ordered on doordash for lunch. Gyros, with the fries and soup, and I ordered a drink. My total meal cost was a little over $20. I picked up my food. I get back to my office, no fries, no soup. Should I have probably checked it before I left, yes, but I was in a hurry to get back to work. I was upset about paying $20 and then not getting food I paid for, but I wouldn't have left a review if that was all. I found a small shard of metal in my gyros meat. One piece at first, and then it was several. I quit eating my lunch. Will not be going back. I wonder how much metal I ingested before I saw that first piece.
