My wife loves Indian Food, so we go to Indian restaurants quite a bit. I don’t really understand what any of the dishes are, so I usually end up getting Chicken Tandoori or Marsala. So today when she said she wanted to try a new Indian restaurant I was less than enthusiastic. I did think that tonight, I am going to try something different. As soon as I walked in the restaurant I knew this was going to be a different experience. The restaurant is spotless and airy and filled with natural light. The menu was extensive and I actually tried something I never had. The Kadahi Chicken was delicious. We tried two appetizers we never had, Pani Puri, and the Samosa Chatt. Our cocktails were excellent. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. We will definitely return whenever we are in the Wausau area.

First time in my life trying Indian food (first for my wife as well) and I cannot say in words how good everything was. We kept it simple and tried samosas, butter chicken, the bread platter, and the shahi tukda dessert. Each dish had unique flavors, bold flavors (but not overwhelming, especially for someone who isn’t a big fan of “warm” flavors) and was very well portioned for the price. We placed a to go order and the food was all ready at the promised time, fresh and well packaged. The shahi tukda dessert might be the best dessert in town!!! It’s so good!

Wow! What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff was great, and the food was absolutely incredible! We went here for lunch on a Saturday. We have had limited experience with Indian food, so we wanted to try multiple options. The first impression was a warm welcome into a beautiful space. The chairs at the tables and the booth backs are covered in a soft material, and the booth we had was very comfortable. The table settings made it feel like we were very underdressed, but we never were made to feel out of place. We started with an order of Samosa Chaat. We loved it! There is a mixture of hot, cold, sweet, spicy, creamy, and crunchy. For our entrees, we chose Butter Chicken, Chicken Tika Masala, and Malai Kofta. We had a hard time choosing which was our favorite! In addition to these entrees, we also ordered two versions of the Naan - garlic Naan and Maharaja Naan. The garlic speaks for itself. The Maharaja Naan is a delicious combination of fruits, nuts, and spices. We can't wait to try other options!
